Mulla Construction Ltd. is actively aware of their responsibilities in the areas of Health & Safety and Environmental impact, endeavouring to conduct their activities with sensitivity and empathy towards their workforce, the general public and immediate surroundings. The company is in the process of implementing an environmental management system to ISO Standards.
The Health & Safety Manager is responsible for all aspects of health and safety within the company. Mulla Construction Ltd. is committed to taking all reasonable and practicable measures to ensure the safety, health and welfare of company personnel, sub-contractors and their personnel, members of the public, customers and their representatives as well as personnel from all relevant authorities. It is company policy to comply with applicable legal requirements as a minimum and also with relevant regulations and guidelines where appropriate and practicable as defined in the company safety statement. Health & Safety is further promoted by the provision of on-going training to company personnel and the sub-contracting community. On all Mulla Construction Ltd. existing construction sites weekly checklists are carried out and sent back to head office. On all sites H&S audits are carried out by the Company H&S officer and where required alterations to current practices are carried out to ensure best H&S precautions are adhered to on site. Mulla Construction Ltd. accepts H&S as a major element in the success of its business and is proud of its clear record of no recordable accidents in the last 5 years.
Mulla Construction Ltd. is prepared to act as Principal Contractor in accordance with CDM Regulations 1995.
